I’m so glad you stopped by! My name is Autumn and I’m originally a farm girl from northwest Oregon. There, my life revolved around caring for the land, animals and home. I savored (almost) every moment of it! I’m naturally an introvert but love walking beside people in this crazy life. That’s what this blog is all about!
I led a semi-normal life until 18 years of age, when I received a tick bite during a wildlife photography escapade. That bite left a scar not only on my skin, but would soon scar every part of my life. By the age of 21, my body was spinning out of control. And it all began.
The journey. That is what this blog is all about: my personal story, how I used natural methods to get Lyme Disease under control, discovery of co-infections, where I went for help, how I re-learned to live life as a mostly recovered Lyme carrier.
This blog is a reminisce of my story. I’m not qualified to give advise for natural or medical treatments. I have limited understanding of the body, and this blog was written to share my experience for others’ observation and encouragement.
And while I want to encourage others, my deepest wish is to offer hope to my readers! Hope that life can be regained and to share the ultimate hope that encompasses a weary soul when all is well between self and the Creator of the world. God was and is my ultimate hope when all is falling apart. I’ve joined my life to His own through Jesus Christ’s showing me the way. So as I share my story here, just as it was, you’ll see Him in it.
“My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken” (Psalm 62:5).
